Moccasin-Making Live Online Course With Lougaya

Our first live workshop online will take place at the end of January. We’ve decided to split it into two sessions of 3 hours, taking place Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of January 2023. It will be in the morning for people living in America and in the afternoon for those living in Europe. 

(Time Frame: 7 to 10 am in Los Angeles, 10 am to 1 pm in New York, 4 to 7 pm in Paris and Berlin). For those living in Asia and Australia, let me know if you are interested, and we can organize another date and time that could be more convenient...

It’s the opportunity to make barefoot-moccasins in person with Lougaya and benefit from direct answers to your questions, doubts, and mistakes. She will also be able to give you express advice on your work to improve your stitching technique and more.

You can be sure that by the end of the two sessions, you will end with a finished pair of quality-leather moccasins that you can wear on a daily basis and the skill to make them for your family and friends.

The workshop will cover how to make low moccasins this time. Nevertheless, you will be able to choose from 3 different styles: The Heart, The Moon, and, The Leaf moccasins. You will also be able to choose the color of the leather, which we will send to you prior to the workshop.

You will also get the PDF and Video tutorial (of the style you choose) which you can read and watch in advance to be as well-prepared as possible (although it is not mandatory to do so…). After the workshop, the same tutorial will enable you to keep a memory of what you’ll have learned.

We’ve decided to limit the group to 8 people to ensure everyone can receive quality time and answers from Lougaya.

Once we received your payment, we will contact you for the choice of leather and moccasin style.

Bookings will close on the 7th of January because we need to count enough time for the shipping of the leather and tool kit.

NOTE: Before the workshop, Lougaya will ask you to take the time to print and prepare the pattern to make sure we don’t waste time with printing issues. She will stay available to give you support on this topic by email. For the same reason, she will also ask you to make sure your webcam, microphone, speakers, and Zoom app are functioning well BEFORE the meeting.

The price is 160 euros / 170 US dollars, which is about the price of a pair of custom-made moccasins. It includes it all: the workshop, the PDF, and video tutorial, the leather and tools, and ongoing support before and after the workshop.
