"Moon" Moccasins / Custom-Made Barefoot Shoes

This is the right place to order your custom-made leather moccasins. These are minimalist/barefoot moccasins made out of high-quality bull-calf leather. We make all our moccasins to suit your own morphology as good as possible by adapting our patterns especially for each of our customers. The shoe is made of a single piece of leather and do not have any plastic or rubber sole. In fact, you will have similar sensations as if you were walking barefoot while being well protected from rocky, pointy, sharp, prickly or burning/cold grounds at the same time.

Even though they are closed shoes, the fact that they are 100% leather gives them very good qualities in terms of breathability and temperature regulation. This is why we like to wear them without socks (except in winter).

They are suitable to wear indoors and outdoors and are water-resistant although they are not recommended for cold and wet weather. In all cases, they will benefit from a regular coat of leather treatment.

The soft bull-calf leather we use is 2 mm thick. You will easily be able to walk several months (outdoors) before needing to resoled them with leather or thin rubber crepe (you will get a tutorial about resoling moccasins easily by gluing an extra sole).

They can be resoled as many times as needed over time and if well taken care of, a pair can last for many years.
If you keep them for indoors, they could withstand decades!

Generally speaking, these are suitable for feet from size 37-39 EU / 6-8 US. Can be longer if your foot is thin.

THIS DESIGN IS RECOMMENDED IF YOU HAVE A HIGH ARCH.

It is not recommended if you want a wider toe-box, in this case see the "Leaf" (two-colored) style listings.

We will ask you for a few measurements and pictures of your feet. This will enable me to fit them as close as possible to your feet so that they can become a bit like a second skin. Within the first week of wearing them, the leather will also stretch a little to perfect the fitting.

We custom-make each pair and have a good rate of good-fittings (8-9/10) yet there is also a risk that the fitting can go wrong, in such case, we will treat each case individually (including refund or sending another pair).

We would usually make and ship your sandals within 1 week after receiving your measurements. Shipping from France usually takes about 7 to 15 days to the USA and up to 3 weeks for Australia and New Zealand.
